ok the big Question is well you all know we finally get to go to apgla on June 6. My question is do we do most of are shopping there or use the free shipping ??? Can some one tell me. I'm not sure what sales tax is in CA but this is what we did last year on our trip to Chicago. We drove so it took a couple of days to get there and we were able to spread it out. We bought several this using "THE CODE" and each day the girls (DD and my 2 DN's) got a present. There is something very special about picking out a doll for yourself though so we bought Nellie there. Each girl had also saved her own money so we let them make their choices and spend their own money. It was special for DD to go to the register and pay herself. She had it figured down to her last dollar as did my nieces. They were 7,8,and 9. It was well worth the tax for them to make their own purchases. So, if I were you I would probably do a combination of both. Either way it's all too fun!

Im not exactly sure what the sales tax is in CA, but I'm sure it's at least as much as most cities, and probably more.

Personally, I'd buy any clothes/accessories online with the free shipping code, and pick out any dolls in person at the store. But that's just me.

But if you want to pick out souvenir items in the store as well (or just get carried away with excitement [img]wink.gif[/img] ), and end up with more to buy than just one doll, you will probably save money by doing shipping rather than sales tax.

My take on it is that it's worth it to pay sales tax to pick out a doll in person.

Other stuff... I'd go to the store first and see what you like in person, then order it online with the free shipping code.

Of course, I just buy at the store since I have to pay the sales tax no matter what. [img]frown.gif[/img]

Like the cafe outfit and the pink tee shirt and the red bag that dolls and set in and the black sweat shirt? please let me know if you know. Do don't want to have to pay CA sales tax if you don't have to. It is 8.25%. Really nasty.

With the free shipping code you will save more by buying and having everything you want shipped to you.

When you get to AGPLA u can pick up on the in store special items.
